Black Lives Matter and the Boogaloo are both decentralized movements. As such they are subject to semantic confusion in the form of a) hijacking; and b) misrepresentation.
White supremacists might call themselves “Boogalooers” even though most Boogalooers condemn racism; Marxists might call themselves “BLM” even though most BLM sympathizers are not Marxists.
(Smart Boogalooers recognize that the best way to win the next civil war is to deter it, and the best way to deter the next civil war is to make those who might start it think you’re both well enough armed to hurt them, and crazy enough to want it. Shhh, don’t tell anyone.)
Outsiders might view BLM as a Marxist movement, and the Boogaloo as a white-supremacist movement.
Obviously, the hijacking plays into the misrepresentation, and the misrepresentation into the hijacking. These decentralized movements can be all things to all people.
Not so the Not Fucking Around Coalition. NFAC is a Black separatist militia, with a leader, John Jay…
